◎ The Press
The Paper Channel is a small independent publishing house. Our work consists of self-published small bilingual books in Hebrew and Arabic that include text and visual art. Besides our books we also represent other local independent publishers.
Founded in Jerusalem in 2014, moved to Berlin in 2019. We run off a typewriter, a risograph, and a folding table. We print between 80 and 400 copies of each title. When they sell out, they sell out.
◎ Editorial
Each book begins as a meeting — over coffee, over a border, over email. We work with poets, artists, translators and troublemakers. We pay everyone something. We pay nobody enough.
We do not take advertising. We do not use AI to set our type. Covers are made by hand and scanned with the lid open.
كتب صغيرة، ثنائية اللغة. لا إعلانات. لا ترجمات مهذّبة.
